The Colorado Springs Airport will be undertaking a pavement rehabilitation project on Taxiway Bravo. Construction is scheduled to begin June 20, 2022 and will run through September 2022. The project work area is from TWY B1 to B4, and from the non-movement line at the Peterson Space Force ramp to Runway 13/31. Access to the Peterson Space Force ramp will be available throughout the construction project. Runways 17R/35L and 13/31 will be closed periodically during the project. Check NOTAMs for the most up to date information.
Construction items consist of a 5 inch mill of existing asphalt followed by an overlay of new asphalt pavement. New shoulders will be installed on the west edge of the taxiway. Additionally, taxiway edge lighting and signs will be upgraded to all LED.
