This is a reminder that the annual Seaplane Festival will be held Saturday, April 8, 2006, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the OAS Hangar on Lake Hood.
The general topic of the annual event is 'All Things Seaplane.' Lunch will be served and speakers will include Glenn Alsworth, Brian Horner, FAA Regional Administrator Pat Poe, and the Alaskan chapter of The 99's. And at 4:30 PM, the new OAS hangar will be dedicated to Alaskan aviation pioneerTom Wardleigh by Senator Ted Stevens.
