The International Helicopter Safety Team would like you to spend 5 or 10 minutes to answer 12 questions in a survey. They are asking for your feedback to judge the effectiveness of IHST safety recommendations.
The IHST’s key recommendations relate to safety management systems (SMS), training, systems and equipment, and maintenance practices. Past survey results show that the operators who’ve implemented these recommendations have the best safety records. IHST will run this survey every year to identify where they need to focus their efforts for further improvement. They would like those who have participated in past surveys to update their inputs every year, even if there’s no change.
