Lewisburg Airport Taxiway ”Alpha” Closure and Resurfacing
This notice expired on
Sunday, July 1, 2012

To the users of Greenbrier Valley Airport (LWB) Lewisburg, West Virginia:

The construction on taxiway Alpha will take place during the hours the tower is operational (9 A.M. - 7 P.M.).  Starting on the 4th of June half of taxiway ALPHA will be closed from the approach end of runway 22 to where the taxiway meets the edge of the ramp NE of taxiway DELTA.  As work progresses, other portions of taxiway ALPHA will be closed as necessary. The plan includes milling the entire length of taxiway ALPHA before paving operations commence.  Expected duration of the project is approximately 3 weeks depending upon weather. No work will be accomplished on weekends and when the tower is closed. The entire taxiway will be open and usable.  Pilots are advised to check NOTAMS DAILY as changes will be frequent.
