Honolulu Control Facility                Letter to Airmen: LTA-HCF-105 

Subject: PHNL RWY 4L Usage      Cancellation 0419/2028 1000 (UTC)

Effective immediately, PHNL  RWY4L is designated  for departure operations only. This change is being made to support safe and efficient management of operations, simplify runway operations and help mitigate the risk of wrong surface landing a t PHNL. The only exception to this guidance is if RWY 8L or 4R are closed or if an emergency situation exists.
