The National Aeronautical Charting Office has published the 6th Edition of the Houston Helicopter Route Chart effective March 13, 2008. 

Due to the high concentration of helicopter activity, this chart is essential to helicopter pilots navigating in the Houston area.  Information depicted includes helicopter routes, four classes of heliports with associated frequency and lighting capabilities, NAVAIDS, and obstructions.  In addition, pictorial symbols, roads, and easily identified geographical features are portrayed.  Because helicopter charts have a longer life span than other FAA aeronautical charts, they are printed on synthetic paper.
