Hi, my name is Rex Shoell and I am the Chapter Secretary of Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 58. I coordinate the EAA VMC Club at KOGD. The VMC Club is a monthly meeting where we discuss real world scenarios with particular regards to risk management, aeronautical decision making and skills required when flying under visual rules to bring top of mind presence to the culture of safety and proficiency within our local GA community.
My background in the aviation community is flying airplanes, gliders and I am also a ground instructor. I am working on advanced ratings and plan to earn my CFI rating.
