I am an active pilot flying 125-150 hrs annually (GA). I maintain currency and proficiency on my instrument rating. I am very active nationally with a variety of aviation organizations - 99s International Women Pilots Organiz (Vice President), Air Race Classic, and EAA Chapter 33. Professionally, I was a faculty member for 30+ years engaging in research, teaching, and administration at the University of Iowa and Northwestern University. I am an experienced speaker and administrator.
Some additional skills include: writing, computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher/InDesign, etc.), web site management.
I have routinely offered presentations of my aviation activities for nearly 20 years (e.g., air racing, The 99s and women in aviation). In 2019, I flew with another woman to Greenland in her Bonanza and have given talks on this adventure.
