I am an active pilot flying 125-150 hrs annually (GA). I maintain currency and proficiency on my instrument rating. I am very active nationally with a variety of aviation organizations - 99s International Women Pilots Organiz (Int'l Director), Air Race Classic (Director), and EAA Chapter 33 (Director). Professionally, I have worked in academia for 30+ years - as a faculty member at the Univ of Iowa and Northwestern Univ. So I am an experienced speaker and administrator.
Some additional skills include: writing, computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher/InDesign, etc.), web site management.
I have routinely offered presentations of my aviation activities for 10+ years (e.g., air racing, women in aviation). This past summer, I flew with another woman to Greenland in her Bonanza and recently gave a talk on this trip.
