I enjoy teaching mountain flying/mountain flying seminars and have flown in many western states and Alaska. I provide training in tailwheel, seaplane, high performance/complex aircraft and many others. Remedial training and counseling of pilots on CRM, ADM, human factors and weather. Cessna FITS Accepted Instructor-Factory Trained and teach in Technically Advanced Aircraft with glass cockpits.
I am currently a FAA Designated Pilot Examiner for Private (Single and Multi-Engine), Instrument-Airplane, Commercial (Single and Multi-Engine), Airline Transport (Single and Multi-Engine), Flight Instructor (Initials, Reinstatements, Renewals, Added Ratings, Sport), Ground Instructor, Sport Pilot, Remote Pilot and Military Competency. Also, I serve as a Check Pilot Examiner/Mission Check Pilot Examiner for the Tennessee Wing Civil Air Patrol and prior Aviation Safety Counselor.
Currently, I serve in the following positions: Senior Captain for a Part 91 corporate flight department, as well as, a Part 135 Chief Pilot, Check Airman, Instructor Pilot and Line Pilot.
