I enjoy all aspects of teaching from mountain flying to seaplanes and tailwheel. I have flown in many western states and Alaska. My goal is to pass along knowledge to help the next generation of aviators so they may operate safely.
I am a FAA Designated Pilot Examiner for Private (Single and Multi-Engine), Instrument-Airplane, Commercial (Single and Multi-Engine), Airline Transport (Single and Multi-Engine), Flight Instructor (Initials, Reinstatements, Renewals, Added Ratings, Sport), Ground Instructor, Sport Pilot, Remote Pilot, Military Competency, Special Medical Flight Tests and Pilot Proficiency/Type Rating Examiner on the CE-560XL.
Currently, I serve in the following positions: Senior Captain for a Part 91 corporate flight department flying a Citation XLS+, Part 135 Chief Pilot|Check Airman|Instructor Pilot|Line Pilot on the Pilatus PC-12, and Seaplane Instructor on the following amphibious and straight float aircraft: Super Petrel(LSA), Aviat Husky A-1B/C, Piper Pacer, Piper Super Cub, Twin AirCam and UC-1 Twin Bee.
