Title:
21st Century Downeast Airspace
Topic:
Airspace
Date and Time:
Saturday, March 17, 2018, starting at 10:00 Eastern Daylight Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Paul Burke, Steve Williams
Brief Description:

At first glance airspace in Maine can seem quite simple with only two of each Class C ,Class D and MOA designated in the state. Lowering ceilings and visibility can suddenly find the VFR pilot struggling to interpret ceiling and visibility minimums based on the airspace they will fly through. Understanding the reasons for the establishment of designated airspace and its associated minimum ceiling and visibility requirements will help in the pilot’s decision making skills. Join us as we "fly" through Maine’s airspace and discuss aviation scenarios that you encounter
