Full Authority Digital Engine Control for General Aviation Aircraft
Learn about the benefits of FADEC (Full Authority Digital Engine Control) for General Aviation Aircraft. The GAJSC has determined that a significant number of general aviation fatalities could be avoided if aircraft were equipped with FADEC. Decreased pilot workload and engine monitoring capability that can alert operators of engine problems are cited as advantages of FADEC. Full authority control also precludes operating engines beyond established limits.
