Brief Description:

Before we walk out to the aircraft, 91.103 requires pilots to explore the details and make affirmative, command, aeronautical decisions without the pressure of flight. This seminar makes practical application of the fundamentals as we plan the same cross-country flights that caught TWO C-310 pilots unprepared in separate but similar incidents. This is an open-discussion format where your pilot skill, experience and judgment will make the difference in the efficient planning and safe conduct of this flight.  Contributing our individual perspectives will be for the collective benefit of all.  Everyone is encouraged to participate.  Please read the linked NTSB Final Reports to see what happened, what we can learn, and prevent it from happening again:
