Title:
WINGS Program and the new WINGS Topic of the Quarter program
Topic:
Earn CASH prizes with the new WINGS TOQ program. Plus, CFIs can benefit from giving WINGS Credits.
Date and Time:
Thursday, May 30, 2019, starting at 18:00 Atlantic Daylight Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Alan Lord - FAASTeam Lead Representative in San Juan
Brief Description:

Many pilots attend our seminars and earn WINGS knowledge credits.  In this seminar we will discuss how by regularly completing the WINGS flight credits to complement the knowledge credits, pilots may never need to do a flight review again!  We’ll show you how WINGS participation puts pilots on the path to proficiency.  The new program also offers a structured way to earn an opportunity for cash prizes.  In the seminar we will detail this quarter’s knowledge and flight activities.

We will discuss why it is important to have CFIs to integrate the understanding of the WINGS program into ground-school discussions with pilots. Statistics has proven that pilots who participate in the WINGSs program are subject to fewer aviation incidents and accidents. CFIs can play a critical role in the long term safety of their students by explaining the WINGS program and encouraging the development of a culture for long-term participation in aviation safety.
