Title:
CFI/DPE Forum Teaching SRM
Topic:
Teaching Safety Risk Management (SRM)
Speaker(s):
Floyd Evans, CFI, FAASTeam Rep
Brief Description:
We’ve developed a lot of acronyms over the years such as ADM, TEM, SMS, CRM, and SRM that describe the process of detecting hazards, assessing risk and eliminating or mitigating those risks to acceptable levels. Whatever you choose to call it; a systematic process for defining what you’re getting into and deciding how to deal with it is essential to safe flight operations. At this informative meeting, we’re going to talk about how and when we teach Safety Risk Management to our students and we’ll share some SRM education best practices along the way.
Flight Instructors, Ground Instructors, Designated Pilot Examiners, and Instructors in training are welcome and encouraged to attend. Join your flight instructor colleagues and take an active role in improving safety in flight training! Click on the link below and register TODAY!
