Title:
IMC PROFICIENCY and DECISION MAKING-MAKE IT PERSONAL
Topic:
The central idea of this seminar is IFR decision making: Chasing choices.
Speaker(s):
Pat Brown, CFII , Don R Windle, AIGI
Brief Description:
.Participants will analyze two accident scenarios where pilots made questionable decisions under the stress and confusion that IMC flying can and often does create. What led to the suboptimal decisions? How can we avoid task saturation and insure solid decision making when flying in IMC? What thought processes and actions will mitigate risk, improve competence, and avoid the outcomes presented in the scenarios.
