Title:
Aircraft Accident First Responder Training
Topic:
FAASTeam Will Provide the First Responders Training on How To Approach an Aircraft Accident Safely
Speaker(s):
Eddie Shields
Brief Description:
Fire fighters, law enforcement (LEO), and other first responder organizations are the first to be contacted when an aircraft accident occurs. They may not be aware of systems in the aircraft that could possibly be deadly to them. With the new ballistic parachute systems and restraint belts with exploding devices in them, and high pressure systems in an aircraft the responders need an overview of unsafe conditions and contact information on these systems.
