Brief Description:
This presentation will discuss 14 CFR Part 43 Preventive Maintenance tasks and also discuss the correct documentation of these items. This event will help guide General Aviation pilots to determine what they are authorized to do, but more important, hopefully help you realize what you may/may not be capable of doing. In addition, Mr. Robert Gallagher will have several hands on demonstrations (attendees can participate) regarding preventive maintenance tasks, such as the removing/cleaning, testing and reinstalling spark plugs and oil filter internal inspections. Bob Gallagher is a Designated Mechanic Examiner (DME) for the Tampa FSDO. Static displays of multiple aircraft systems are also available for discussion following the demonstration. The presentation will be approximately 1 hour, with the voluntary hands on participation following (event will end by 9:00 pm).

Head west on State Road 54 for 5 miles until you reach Success Drive, turn right (heading North-look for the sign that states West Pasco Industrial Park) for approximatley 4 blocks, turning right (East) on Perpetual Drive. Aircraft Systems Group's facility will be located on the right (fourth building).
