Mark Donovan is our guest speaker for this event, bringing loads of experience to our screens to discuss tailwheel transition key training tips and student experiences from first hand situations. Learn about how to go about selecting the proper CFI, aircraft and what unique things you should be alert about during pre-flights. Mark will share his experience of flying his PA18-150 Super Cub.

Mark is an FAA Gold Seal Flight Instructor and Assistant Chief Flight Instructor at Laconia Flight Academy in Laconia, NH.

He is a CFI/CFII and holds commercial pilot certificates for ASEL, ASES, and AMEL, and has over 2,700 flight hours and over 2,000 hours of given flight instruction.

Mark has been flying his own Piper PA18-150 Super Cub since 2018 and showcases many of his flights in it on his Falcon Imagery YouTube channel. (See https://www.youtube.com/falconimagery) 

He is also a member of the New Hampshire Wing Civil Air Patrol, where he is a Mission Pilot and Instructor/Check-pilot Examiner.
