Brief Description:

Mr. Parimal Dandekar, CFII/AGI/IGI will discuss best practices to operate safely while conducting a night flight.  This will include information and resources found at the faa.gov website. 

Teaching Points

  • The physiology of night flight - day vision versus night vision.
  • Night landing requirements and currency - 14CFR Part 61.57.
  • Using the PAVE model to access and mitigate risk. 
  • Airport lighting review.
