Title:
Conducting A Flight Review from Either Seat
Topic:
How to Properly Prepare for Conducting or Receiving an FAA Flight Review
Date and Time:
Thursday, June 20, 2024, starting at 19:00 Eastern Daylight Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Jamie Beckett, AOPA Foundation
Brief Description:

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) mandated Flight Review may be one of the most misunderstood activities. First, it’s important to know the Flight Review is not a test. It’s literally impossible to fail. There is no endorsement language to use to indicate a client was less than stellar in their performance. Second, it’s possible to actually have a good time while conducting a flight review that meets the FAA requirements.

Whether you’re the client in the left seat or the CFI in the right seat, the Flight Review is a fantastic opportunity to learn something of real value. In this hour-long presentation career CFI Jamie Beckett of the AOPA Foundation will share insights, experiences, FAA dictates, and best practices for any of us who participate in a flight review from either seat.
