Title:
Drone Setup/Safety/Compliance - A Counter Crash Course
Topic:
UAS Aviation Safety, Regulatory Compliance, and Best Practices/Tips & Tricks we've picked up over the years.
Speaker(s):
William 'Trey' Johnson, Jeremy Rivera, Kevin Edwards
Brief Description:
If you currently own a drone, are thinking of getting one, or plan to give/receive one in the near future, this seminar is designed for you! This Seminar is for everyone . Great safety information for Pilots of manned aircraft to become familiar with Drones.
In addition to regulatory "spin-up" requirements, we'll discuss Best Practices (BP's) for requesting airspace authorizations, preflight risk assessments, critical UAS safety features, and even remedial actions to diagnose/respond to an in-flight malfunction.
The United Utility Power Services (UUPS) "T&D Survey/Emergency Response Team" will be hosting/presenting this seminar. They've successfully concluded UAS operations in the most challenging environments in the country, with zero safety incidents or coordination failures to date.
Come spend an evening with us to learn what you can do to make sure your drone won't negatively influence the flight safety of the aviators around you.
We hope to see you there! There are No WINGS or AMT Credit for UAS.
