Title:
VMC/IMC-WPA Paine Field Monthly Safety Forum
Topic:
Two Realistic PNW Flight Situations are Presented in a Forum Setting for VFR and IFR Pilots.
Date and Time:
Wednesday, February 8, 2023, starting at 19:00 Pacific Standard Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Richard Beckert
Brief Description:

Two PNW flight situations are intended to invoke discussion about both preflight planning and "What would you do," if you were in those situations? We become safer pilots when sharing our own knowledge and experiences with our fellow pilots.

One scenario is a VFR flight that ends in the trees near Mt. Rainier.

Another scenario is an IFR flight to Eastern WA that faces a risk of below minimum fuel due to a weather situation not as forecasted.
