Brief Description:

At this event we take an in depth look at VFR into IMC and the causes that contribute to pilots continuing flight into deteriorating visibility conditions.  Join Bakersfield FAAST Representative, CFI and airline pilot James Hull along with KBFL ATC Specialist Bryan Weathers in studying a recent event in which a general aviation pilot flew into deteriorating conditions caused by smoke from recent wildfires.  The pilot experienced spatial disorientation and loss of control.  ATC assisted the pilot in regaining control and bringing the event to a safe conclusion.
