Topic:
No Easy Way North
Date and Time:
Sunday, November 8, 2026, starting at 18:00 Central Standard Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Killian Madeley
Brief Description:

This Sunday, November 8th at 6 p.m. local, please join us in the EAA 563 hangar for our monthly IMC club meeting and scenario review! We will discuss a proposed flight in which a pilot contends with low ceilings, unfriendly geography, and slipping daylight. Would you cut across Lake Michigan if it meant better en route weather and a shorter flight time? Key elements of the discussion will include overwater operations, IFR communications, and weather risk mitigation. We will also review our EAA Question of the Month.
