Title:
FIND YOUR WAY-Navigation beyond the Magenta Line
Topic:
Build Real Navigation Confidence with Practical Skills Every Pilot Should Know
Date and Time:
Saturday, December 12, 2026, starting at 09:00 Central Standard Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Bailey Reniers, CFI, CFII, MEI
Brief Description:

Bailey Reiner explores the practical navigation skills every pilot should understand beyond simply following the magenta line, reviewing pilotage, dead reckoning, sectional charts, VOR navigation, diversion planning, situational awareness, and the effective use of modern avionics.

Designed for student pilots, newer pilots, and anyone looking to strengthen basic navigation skills, the seminar focuses on knowing where you are, where you are going, and what to do when technology does not provide all the answers. Practical examples will show how traditional navigation techniques and modern cockpit tools can work together to improve confidence, judgment, and safety in flight.
