Speaker(s):

Brief Description:

The Air Traffic Managers (ATMs) from Southern Illinois Airport (MDH) and Veterans Airport of Southern Illinois (MWA) will be on hand to discuss operational issues at their respective airports and answer questions from the audience.

FAASTeam Program Manager Nick Loftus will discuss current pilot deviation trends and some strategies to help avoid them.

This forum is an excellent opportunity for pilots, ATC and other aviation professionals to engage in open dialogue, share experiences, and collaborate on improving operational safety and efficiency at MDH and MWA.  This is a free event open to the general public as well as all Southern Illinois University students, instructors, and staff.  We encourage participation by pilots, flight schools, flight instructors, aviation businesses and anyone else interested in the local airspace.
