This seminar will explore the PHAK ch-2 "5 Critical Decision Points for Every Flight" and Hazardous Attitudes with a real-life single pilot VFR-to-IMC emergency, via an audio file offered in 2004 by the then FAA FSS Specialists.
The purpose of this session is to explore what we can learn from the pilot's experience(s).
Dr. Matt Vance is an experienced aviation educator, engineer, and former U.S. Naval Flight Officer with more than 3,000 hours of military flying experience.
He has taught university aviation programs, served as a FAR Part 141 check airman, and worked in senior aerospace roles with companies including Boeing.
He is also a CFI/CFII/MEI and aircraft owner with decades of experience in aviation safety, training, and operations.
