Approach and Landing
Date and Time:
Tuesday, October 6, 2026, starting at 19:00 Central Daylight Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Jurg Grossenbacher
Brief Description:

Landing Accidents account for over 54% Wisconsin General Aviation Aircraft Accidents. If you want to learn from others then this seminar is for you.

A Stable Approach is essential to a safe approach and landing and is a great way to avoid experiencing loss of control. The three seminars will address accidentsstablized approach criteria and proper and timely go- around decision making.

Jurg Grossenbacher from the Milwaukee FAA, will talk about causal factors of Landing Accidents. We will talk about the importance of stabilized approaches not only what to look for but how to execute them. We will discuss how to practice the stabilized approaches in the Wisconsin Ongoing simulator workshops as well as the aircraft. We will talk about the proper go around procedures to safely operate the airplane.

Please bring your questions so we can all learn from each other.
