Brief Description:
eVTOL aircraft promise to change short distance aviation, but what happens when they enter everyday commercial service? This presentation looks beyond the “flying taxi” and explores the maintenance realities of electric propulsion, high voltage battery systems, and increasingly software driven aircraft.
We will also compare how the United States, Canada, and Europe qualify aviation maintenance professionals and consider the role of specialized training alongside the FAA A&P certificate.
