Today's GA cockpit gives pilots extraordinary capabilities—from synthetic vision, traffic and terrain awareness to advanced navigation, flight planning and automation. Used well, these tools can reduce workload, improve situational awareness and enhance safety. Used poorly, they can distract us, encourage overreliance and even erode basic flying skills. This interactive presentation explores practical ways to get more from modern cockpit technology while keeping the pilot—not the technology—firmly in command.
Tampa FAASTeam, will discuss and present topics vital to aviation safety education and a forum for pilots to engage in a meaningful dialogue.
