Pre-Flight and In-flight Weather Resources

- Pilots must be confident that weather conditions for each flight will be within pilot and aircraft capabilities.
- Pilots should be familiar with the many sources of weather information available for pre-flight planning and in-flight decision making. They should accumulate and compare data from multiple sources to develop an accurate weather picture.
- Pilots should assess present and forecast weather assessments before flight and they should confirm their assessments by contacting Flight Service.
- Pilots should be cognizant of the capabilities and limitations of weather detection technology installed in the aircraft that they fly.

Directions to Venue:

FAA safety Meeting tonight at Chickasha Municipal Airport terminal bldg.  If you drive, park in the short term parking next to the green terminal building. Walk through the gate in the NW corner of the parking lot. For those that attend in person, we will have some food about 6:00 PM and a meeting at 6:30 PM.  We are cooking some roast for BBQ sandwiches.
