Brief Description:

Join us for an enlightening FAASTeam presentation: "Avoiding Controlled Flight into Terrain Accidents". This session will provide invaluable insights into how different factors can lead to a controlled flight into terrain accident and determine ways of eliminating or mitigating those factors. 

Interactive Quiz: This quiz highlights certain IFR procedures that present a high risk for a CFIT accident stimulating discussions on how to anticipate and avoid those risks.

Analysis of specific high risk IFR procedures: Specific IFR procedures, with high risk components, will be presented for group discussion. The discussion will be focused on identifying those risks prior to and during flight to mitigate and avoid those risks.

IFR Quiz: This quiz will review specific IFR procedure and rules.
