Title:
Safety Through The Ages and Mental Health
Topic:
This seminar will discuss the evolution of aviation safety science and pilot mental health
Date and Time:
Wednesday, June 10, 2026, starting at 19:00 Arizona Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Brent Crow and Kevin Otterstrom
Brief Description:

This seminar contains two presentations in one:

1.  Safety Through the Decades - we take a high-level look at how aviation safety science has evolved since 1900 to where it stands today.  Wondering how swiss cheese model came about or if it is still a valid model today?

2.  Pilot mental health - we will review the importance of pilot mental health through case studies and provide tips for managing mental health.  As every pilot is human and has a brain (we hope) - this seminar is for you!
