Brief Description:
The United States Air Force Initial Flight Training (IFT) program serves as the foundational "Gateway to Air Force Aviation." This mandatory screening and training curriculum is required for all Pilot, Combat Systems Officer (CSO), and Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) candidates. Utilizing the DA-20 Katana, the program provides essential introductory flight instruction to applicants with limited aviation backgrounds, ensuring they possess the core competencies required for advanced undergraduate flight training. Felix Bohn, CFII, MEI and Chief Flight Instructor at AerospaceNext, has prepared a program to provides insight into this exciting program coming to Kickapoo Airport in Wichita Falls.
