Join us in Truckee for this month's Fly Safe Seminar featuring Air Traffic Controllers Steve Ingebretson and Justin Martin. This session focuses on real-world situations, common communication challenges, and insider perspectives to help make you a safer pilot. Steve and Justin will share insight from their extensive ATC and pilot careers to help you sharpen your phrasing, reduce frequency clutter, and learn what makes ATC tick. Earn WINGS credit with your fellow pilots and bring the questions you've always wanted to ask a Controller.

Steve Ingebretson has been controlling traffic in Truckee since 2018 and became Tower Manager last year. Prior to Truckee, Steve spent time at KSQL, and KCCR and he also flies corporate jets. Justin Martin works traffic for Oakland Center in the airspace above Truckee and is a representative for the National Air Traffic Controllers Association. He is also an aircraft owner who flies out of Buchanan Field in Concord, CA.
