This 3-hour safety meeting is focused on M-ASA members. It is however open to any pilot wishing to learn about soaring and the Mid-Atlantic Soaring Association.

The Mid-Atlantic Soaring Association (M-ASA) is a premier soaring organization in the Mid-Atlantic region. M-ASA operates from the Mid-Atlantic Soaring Center (W73) near the town of Fairfield, Pennsylvania. M-ASA offers a wide variety of soaring opportunities. These include primary and advanced instruction, local and cross-country soaring and competitive soaring. The services offered to the members include towing, the use of club single and two-seat gliders, private glider tie down, hangar space and secured trailer storage. Conditions in Pennsylvania include good thermal, ridge and wave soaring. Many privately owned gliders ranging from antiques to today's state-of-the-art sailplanes are based at W73.
