Join Brandon Ayers—Designated Pilot Examiner, CFI, CFII, MEI with over 5,500 hours of dual flight instruction, A&P/IA Mechanic, and FAA FAASTeam Safety Representative—as he shares insights from his experience. He’ll discuss common pitfalls he observed as a CFI and continues to see on check rides.
Brandon will cover key trouble areas, including pre-qualifying applicants and paperwork issues, plus frequent challenges in ground and flight portions that trip up both applicants and CFIs. He’ll also highlight other great online resources from fellow DPEs on YouTube, podcasts, etc. Get the tools to succeed! The session will last two hours and include breaks.
