Brief Description:

Utilizing the talents of both an Aircraft Controller and a Pilot Presenter, our monthly scenario based discussion techniques, for this Seminar will feature several detailed scenarios, in "What would you do format?", on the various critical PIC (Pilot in Command) decisions that would be necessary to fly safely while mitigating (IMC) Instrument Meteorological Conditions, (VMC) Visual Meteorological Conditions or a combination of both. Along with FAASTeam Topic of the Month (TOM) Winter Operations. 

We encourage anyone with the desire to enhance their flying confidence to attend this and future IMC/VMC Club Meetings.

Auto traffic: Upon arriving onto Main Entrance of KARR airport property, At 1st opportunity Look and turn left West – 1st Building. Drive onto the parking lot furthest West. Classroom on your right (Passenger’s side).      

Aircraft traffic: Request taxi to West Ramp – JA Air Center. Continue Taxi past the large overhang at JA Aviation Air Center. Continue taxi past and park furthest onto South Ramp between JA Maintenance Building and Building to your South side. NOTE: On Google Maps it is shown as Northrop Aviation Dispatch Academy.
