Brief Description:
A Fly-In “Pancake Breakfast” and educational event is planned for Saturday, December 13, 2025 at McGregor Executive Airport (KPWG). The FAASTeam - WINGS Program will begin at 9:30 AM following breakfast served beginning at 8:30 AM.
The subjects we will discuss at this meeting are:
- Avoiding Controlled Flight Into Terrain (CFIT) Accidents
- Flying CVFP Approaches
All are welcome. You do not need to be an EAA member or instrument rated pilot to attend
Everyone is invited to register and attend as membership is not required. Some will choose to fly in and others may choose to drive. There is ample parking for both airplanes and cars.

Directions to Venue:
Fly-in aircraft are requested to park on the EAA 59 or transient ramp. The FBO can give directions to the EAA hangar. Vehicles enter from the gate, then first right and straight ahead to Chapter 59 Hangar.

What is the EAA/IMC/VMC Club?
EAA provides monthly program resources in the form of actual IMC and VFR related scenarios designed to encourage open discussion, and for all participants to answer the question “What would you do if this happened to you?”
Do you need to bring anything?
First, bring your thoughts or story and be willing to share them with the group. This meeting is very interactive. If you navigate with an iPad, bring it along.
Who can attend?
You don't need an instrument rating to attend. This meeting is open to all current, non-current, and students pilots.
