Brief Description:

Nominees and award winners will be recognized for Arizona's General Aviation Awards for Flight Instructor (CFI), Maintenance Technician (AMT), FAASTeam Representative (REP) of the Year, Arizona Air Traffic Communicator of the Year, Arizona Airport Safety Award of the Year, and the Arizona Pilots Association's (APA)  Ruth Reinhold Award. The winners for CFI, AMT and REP go on to compete for regional and national recognition.

Dynamic Keynote Speaker Bob Mittelstaedt - Bob studied Mechanical Engineering at Tulane University through NROTC, earned his Private and Navy officer commission. Served 5 years on nuclear submarines then obtained an MBA.  Earned Commercial, Multi-Engine, Instrument ratings. Helped design the investigation of Three Mile Island nuclear accident and more! 

Please welcome and encourage aviation safety advocates and their guests to attend this eye-opening presentation on Crew Resource Management, especially for single pilot operation with a non-pilot spouse or companion.
