This event is presented by the FAA Safety Team (FAASTeam) from the Albany Flight Standards District Office (FSDO). The seminar will cover information of interest to all pilots and student pilots. The topic will be presented by our FAASTeam Representatives and Commercial Flight Instructor, Melodie Viele.
During this discussion, we will examine the factors contributing to the accidents, explore potential preventative measures, and derive lessons to avert similar incidents in the future. our objective is to enhance safety and preparedness. An effective pilot debrief and review of the flight should access both the successful and challenging aspects of the flight. The aim of this review is not to criticize pilots for their error but to extract valuable insights that can be utilized to refine our own skills.
