Thanks to our speaker - Josue Tirado.
For ten years, Josue Tirado served as the UAS Pilot for the Public Works Department of Miami Dade County (MDC). His main focus was on mapping, yet he also engaged in land use missions and tested the integration of UAVs with the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) communications of the county, among other tasks. He obtained Certificates of Authorization (COA) enabling him to operate within the intricate national airspace system (NAS) of MDC, which included missions under both Miami International and Military Airspace. Throughout his decade of service, he maintained a perfect record, free of any incidents or violations.
