Pilot & CFI Forum: Understanding ADS-B – FAASTeam Topic of the Month (with Pizza!)
Speaker(s):
Patrick Lofvenholm (RCFO's) & John Moloney (FAAST)
Brief Description:
Join CFII John Moloney as he pulls back the veil on ADS-B. He’ll cover the benefits and lesser-known features of the system, rules and regulations for Light Sport, Experimental, and certified aircraft, and practical applications in today’s airspace environment. Learn techniques for viewing long-range weather, planning cross-country flights, and making the most of ADS-B tools.
This interactive forum is designed for local pilots, CFIs, and aviation enthusiasts. In addition to ADS-B insights, we’ll collaborate on recent safety trends, pilot deviations, and operational lessons learned, while reviewing the current FAASTeam Topic of the Month.
