Monthly Safety Meeting
Topic:
The Hazards Of Thunderstorms -- Why It's Best To Stay Well Clear Of Them
Brief Description:
Thunderstorms are still popping up all over. If you haven't dodged a few already this year, there will be plenty more opportunities. To make sure we truly understand the threat that thunderstorms pose and how best to avoid them, FAASTeam Representative Joe Smith has updated and enhanced his program entitled "The Hazards Of Thunderstorms -- Why It's Best To Stay Well Clear Of Them." Colonel Smith is a retired USAF pilot and currently serves on the staff of a six-state Civil Air Patrol region where, among other duties, he flies as an instructor pilot and evaluator.
Wings credit will be awarded to attendees.
