Brief Description:

In 2009, James Aarestad flew an experimental Velocity-XL from Buffalo, MN to Johannesburg South Africa.  The airplane was built in a garage in Maple Grove, MN and completed at the Buffalo MN airport.  The trip crossed over 19 countries, took 24 days and covered over 10,000 miles.  Come and learn the ins-and-outs of international travel in a small GA aircraft.

James is a commercial airline pilot and lives in Buffalo, MM.  Also, he owns and operates a pipeline patrol company that uses a proprietary laser gas sensing system to find pipeline gas leaks from Cessna aircraft.
