Summer time is one of the most active periods for private pilots, but has unique weather, environmental, and equipment considerations that pilots need to be aware of for safe flying. In this presentation Mr. Girardeau will cover several topics unique to summer flying such as thunderstorms, density altitude, identifying critical weather changes, traveling with passengers, health considerations, aircraft instruments, engine out scenarios, flight planning, and other general pilot knowledge refresher topics.
