MASH Flying In The Korean War
Topic:
A Discussion Of The MASH Units Flight Plans, Preflights, And Flight Operations From The Korean War.
Brief Description:
During the Korean War doctors were assigned to mobile hospitals to try to save lives. Chris has spent time interviewing original veterans of the Korean War as well as cast members from the TV show. Whether you are a fan of history or enjoy the show, this lecture will be one you enjoy. Chris will further discuss how the pilots planned, preflighted and safely navigated rescue missions for wounded soldiers.
Chris Henry is the EAA Aviation Museum Manager. He has spent the last 13 years at EAA working to preserve the people stories in aviation’s rich history. Before that he served as an air traffic controller and even a medical helicopter dispatcher. He has been working in aviation museums since he was 12 years old. He has been a celebrated speaker at our event in the past and we are delighted and honored to have him return.
