Brief Description:

Ryan Gaug, Aeronautics Director, MnDOT, will update attendees on the latest happenings in aviation and MnDOT’s Office of Aeronautics.  Ryan will bring us up-to-date on MNDOT's activities, safety seminars, airport constructions zones and aviation initiatives planned for Minnesota.

Ryan Gaug began his career with MnDOT in 2008 as a transportation planner and in 2011 joined MnDOT’s Office of Aeronautics as an aviation planner.  He was promoted to Planning Director in 2014, to Assistant Office Director in 2019, and to Office Director in 2023.   Ryan has an undergraduate degree in Political Science and a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey Institute and is AICP certified.  In his previous career he worked as a legislative aid in the U.S. Congress.

Airport is located southeast of the City of Buffalo off of Highway 55.  Turn north on County Road 134 (at the Kwik Trip) and the airport will be on your right just past Menards.  It is easy to find using GPS/map apps.

Signs will be provided to guide you to parking.
