Title:
Observations From Instrument Practical Tests
Topic:
We Will Look At Instrument Practical Tests From An Examiner's Point Of View. Helpful Hints Will Be Offered.
Brief Description:
This presentation will look at instrument practical tests from an examiner's point of view. As an instrument pilot the risks and safety analyses are elevated over a VFR rating. As instrument pilot applicant, safety of flight should always be of the highest priority. Helpful hints for the instrument practical test for the instructor and student will be offered.
Tony Hentges has been flying for over 30 years. Once he had all his ratings, he began flight instructing, later moving on to flying Part 135, corporate, and now flying for a Part 121 carrier. Tony has been an examiner for the past 13 years primarily doing single engine practical tests. He really enjoys flying general aviation and tries to focus on risk management/safety and basic stick and rudder skills.
