Title:
Observations From Private/Commercial Practical Tests
Topic:
Where Applicants Have Been Noted To Be Consistently Deficient.
Date and Time:
Friday, May 16, 2025, starting at 09:00 Central Daylight Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Mark Cook
Brief Description:

It is no secret that the secret to passing any FAA practical test is being well prepared, this includes the flight instructor as well as the applicant.  Since many of the Area of Operation Tasks listed in the private and commercial Airman Certification Standards are identical, errors made on practical tests by applicants are likewise similar.  We will discuss the Tasks that are problematic to applicants on these exams.  In addition, we discuss the risk management and safety aspects of practical test.  As a CFI you will gain valuable insight into how to avoid these pit falls as you prepare your students.   Although this seminar is geared towards CFIs, any student preparing for a private or commercial practical test will benefit from this presentation.

Based out of Bemidji MN, Mark is the furthest north Minnesota Designated Pilot Examiner.
